'Since starting this project whenever we've been asked which band is number 1 on your 'hitlist' the answer was always Alabama 3.
After some gentle persuasion they arrived after a very long night the day before.  As always our garden shed eased them gently back into the day.
Larry felt the spirit so strongly he even gives a short sermon before Woke Up This Morning.'

The shed is a former army billet based in the Somerset countryside just off junction 20 of the M5.  It contains a fascinating collection of curiosities and is the perfect location to take a break from the madness of touring, kick back for a while and watch some intimate lo-fi acoustic performances.

The collections in the shed were initially put together for meetings of a small group of friends with a love of Cheese, Cider and Real Ale.  During one of our regular meetings in The Royal Oak it was suggested we tried to get some musicians to play at the first meeting. The Cheese, Ale and Cider society was immediately dropped and Songs From The Shed was born.

The latest session sees Alabama 3 Acoustic and Unplugged performing the classic 'Woke Up This Morning' alongside two tracks form their latest album, 'Rush' and 'Operator'. They are accompanied on fiddle throughout and filmed on high definition.

We think you'll enjoy this!
