EVEN THE DEAD GET UP TO DANCE

When Alabama 3 are out on tour even the dead get up to dance and tonight's offering in Middlesborough is no different.

Frontmant Larry Love is fully limbered up bouncing around the stage with his pistol fingers constantly firing off shots.

D Wayne Love keeps the audience on the right(eous) track and Aurora Dawn delivering powerful vocals.

The band hit the stage in full combat dress as Larry Love and Aurora Dawn kick off the show asking "Are you a soldier (in the army of love)" before being joined by the Commandante Sergeant D Wayne Love to take us through a great set.

Tunes from the new album Revolver Soul, such as the gospel orientated She Blessed Me, the protesting Hostage and All Gods Children (Need Dancing Shoes) are excellent.

Old favourites like The Sopranos theme Woke Up This Morning, Mao Tse Tung Said, 12 Step Plan and the anti-BNP protest anthem Woody Guthrie go down a storm.

A grand evening's entertainment from one of the best and most original live acts in the country.

Long live Alabama 3.
