BRENDAN & LARRY

Playing to an altogether different beat from the Alabama 3 sound, Larry Love has been inhabiting some dark corners and basements again with Brendan O'Connell crafting a catalogue of melodic but disturbing celtic folk balladry, and sweet sounds have been heard eminating from the stage at Streatham's White Lion from time to time... We hope to bring some of these gems to you in the very near future.  In the meantime, here's a snippet of them playing on St Patrick's Day and an interview filmed upstairs at Jamm.

THE VEX

Ever since their barnstorming support for Alabama 3 on the 12 Step tour and regular appearances at Brixton JAMM we have been following and championing the progress of these guys.
It now seems there's a mutual attraction developing between the Vex and our brothers and sisters at Hostage Music and with the lads gearing up for some original and exciting releases this year plus a possible live tour it looks like things are on the move. For news on the developments follow on twitter @hostagemusic and www.hostagemusic.com

WIZARD

Hostage Music have teamed up with exciting and infuential bass label "Subslayers", to launch Wizard's latest sonic venture - the much anticipated 'Phenomenon One' E.P. due for release in the first week of June! Featuring Wizard's cutting edge production blended with some of Londons best underground vocal talent that includes  Rebel MC, Lady Chann, Tenor Fly & Daddy Freddy, this EP is seriously dangerous! We also know from the 'fallout' eminating from his 'Lab'  in his studio upstairs at Brixton JAMM that there's plenty more to come from  Wizard & Hostage this year.

ALABAMA 3

Larry Love,  Rev D. Wayne Love and the Spirit of Love have been seen working through the night (for many nights) in the studio at Jamm with Wizard and IDK crew. There are rumours in the house that Alabama 3's old House roots are coming back to haunt them  and we can expect some hands in the air anthemic output to reach us in the Autumn.  Watch this space.

DAUGHTERS OF GOD

Our very own Spirit and his 'punk-rock-transvestite-rrriot grrrl punk power band' fronted by the dangerously charismatic Trixie Malixie are in the final throes of recording their own material. We cant wait to expose you to this highly toxic concoction.
